The control panel processes the commands from different devices
Arms: The arms are usually connected to the door by one of two ways; a swinging arm opener, which pulls or pushes the gate open in the right direction, holds it open for an appropriate amount of time, and then pushes or pulls it shut again; or a sliding gate opener, which uses a motorized gear to move the door open.
Photo eye / Reflector: Photo eyes are “non-contact” devices that operate by shooting a beam of light across the gate opening. These are hard-wired to the control board as an entrapment device; interrupting the beam will stop the gate. So, as long as your vehicle is in the path of this beam, the gate will not close.
Surge Protector: Adds another layer of protection to the high voltage power supply of your gate operator, up to 20K volts / 10K Amps
Radio / Receiver: The three channel narrow band radio is hardwired to the control board and provides access with a transmitter (clicker / remote) *Supports 811 transmitters and Max remote controls
Linear-Ant Kit: This remote whip 15’ coax cable and bracket extends the range of the remotes, allowing access to the gates from further away
