Who we are
Southern Classic Fence is a local fencing company proudly serving the Grand Strand and surrounding areas, including Horry, Columbus, and Brunswick Counties. We offer a variety of fence installation services for both residential and commercial properties; however, our favorite customers are your dogs! We specialize in aluminum, vinyl, chain link, and wood fencing and particularly enjoy custom projects that require creative solutions and a high level of skill. We also offer other services such as gate operator installation and maintenance, fence removal, lot clearing, house skirting, dumpster services, fence painting or staining, decorative trellis, handrails, hardie board fence, and all types of farm fencing (ag fence, ranch rail and box wire fence). Our team is also well-versed in local and national codes for pool enclosures and gate operators.

Woman Owned & Operated
Megan, also known as “fence mommy” is the owner of Southern Classic Fence. Her first 8 years in the fence industry was spent working for the late Mr. Paul Smith at Independent Fence Distributors, a wholesale and manufacturer for vinyl and aluminum products. She further honed her skills working for an installation company, learning the other side of this industry. Paul asked her once if she liked her job. She thought about it and said, “I enjoy working with my customers, but I am never going to ride down the road and look at a fence and think, wow, I sold that”.
All of that changed in 2022 when she opened Southern Classic Fence. Now she rides down the road and even her children say, “Look, mom! We did that!”
Jagger Biscuit
Meet our Mascot! Jagger is a rescue / adopted full blooded boxer, even though he had his ears cut to look like a Pit in his previous life. When we started Southern Classic Fence, the big focus was on dog fencing, and what better mascot to have then our beloved baby boy, Jagger. He loves treats, truck rides, his human brothers and ice cream.
Megan is passionate about animals; if she had the means, she would have 10 of each kind. Dogs are her favorite and she actively supports local shelters and rescues.
While Jagger is the face of Southern Classic Fence, with each fence we do for a dog, we add them to our “Dogs of SC Fence”
Our Team
Megan believes in making work fun for everyone, her customers, employees and children, with playful engagements like singing any song that comes to mind at any given moment, or working out of town and staying the weekend for vacation. She says that it is easy to like what you do if you are having fun while you do it. “The guys I work with, they are my best friends, we have so much fun together”.
A Family Affair
Both children are homeschooled, so you can expect them to be at any given job site working and learning the trade.
When she is not installing fences or doing office work, you have a 99% chance of catching Megan on the ballfield. There is no place on earth she would rather be than sitting behind a home plate watching her boy play baseball. She’s either in the field or at the field.
Our Prayer
The WORD of the LORD tells us that we are to prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospers. We take HIM at HIS word as we come boldly to HIS throne and ask for mercy and grace. We ask HIM to lead this company; to be the center. We ask for abundant blessings to our fence customers, our employees and to our company.
